| As I said in the prior post, you'll have to catch the actual racing in my videos that I'll be editing this week or when it airs nationally in January (boo!). However, I can tell you the results and show you the aftermath...which most people missed because they LEFT EARLY. You know who you are! Here's a few in the pits during the race

In the GT500 class, the #32 PIAA NSX (formerly the Epson car) took first place. In the GT300 class, the #43 ARTA Garaiya (ASL is the private manufacturer) took first place. Right after I snapped this shot of the Calsonic 350Z finishing the race (he ran the last ~15 laps or so like that) we saw that the gates were wide open to greet the drivers as they finished the race. They parked on pit row after the final lap as the race queens, media and event officials rushed in.
This was the last shot I got before going below. The outer stands are empty because the General Admission had viewing from the huge infield (since a great deal of the course was in the infield). We were in what is usually the VIP section at Nascar events and such. The pit view was great.
 Into the fray...
Despite the close crowds there was no pushing, yelling or anyone stepping on the toes of the workers. People made room and it was eerily silent compared to what I'd have thought would go on. I think people were in awe and wanted to make damn sure their pics came out right! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
